The worst pizza I ever ate was in a small pizzeria located in the back of a thrift store in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
A small pie was 20% cooler upon serving than one from Dominoes, and they missed cheese on the corners (not that I cared, the cheese was American). The establishment was named something like "Budget Margherita (tm)" in italicized Calibri font.
The next day, I got so food poisoned I missed a thread made by Zach on cuckchan and it archived before I could bump it. If they didn't use rancid American cheese so much there wouldn't be a problem.

Recently I just ate the worst pizza ever from some local joint. Usually the dude makes good stuff but this was probably the worst pizza I ever had. It just tasted like cheese on cardboard. Guess he was having a bad day. I probably won't eat there again. I rarely eat out because its expensive and not worth it.

I like pineapple, and I love pizza. My uncle is a great cook and once he made two pineapple pizzas and gave them to us, and to my surprise I finally understood all the memes about pineapple pizza, it was one of the worst things I've ever eaten.

Really? I'm not an Amerimutt but I liked it when I tried some. I guess its for people with Inoue-Tier taste.

People like to shit on Ohio valley style pizza but it's pretty good and doesn't look like ghetto trash pizza like Altoona's

Did he throw pork on it too or just pineapple? Ive never had a bad slice of hawaiian but I rarely ever get it, and just pineapple sounds not great

It was a real Hawaiian pizza. I thought the pineapple was horrible with the pizza dough and cheese. In general, I hate all sweet pizzas.

A year or so ago i ate the worst pizza of my life and also it was the most expensive, other than that thing the worse i've eaten is probably a cold budget Little Ceaser's
The worst one was an "italian" joint filled with mexican immigrants who put a "twist" in the ingredients which dumbed down a lot of the flavor while charging extra for low-par ingredients but actually the bad part was that it was a muttmerican-style deep dish "pie". Horrible stuff, too much ingredients for such a thin, crusty bread, and with a sickengly sweet gooey sauce.
Americans simply cannot into pizza.

Does anyone actually eat Italian-style pizza?

Proper Hawaiian pizza has thin slices of pineapple chunks and canadian bacon. Many places just use ham, bacon, or a mix of ham and bacon instead of canadian bacon. Most of them also just put pineapple chunks on it, which are too thick and add too much water to the pizza as it cooks. Thin slices cook and crisp alittle, and the canadian bacon adds a smokey taste without being too salty.

Together it's pizza with a smokey/sweet/savory mix that's pretty good. This mixture actually works better on mid-west pizza more than pizza thats popular in places like NY/NJ since NY/NJ tend to have more flavorful pizza sauce with more garlic, rather than a tart tomato taste like most other parts of the country.

I'm more of a burger man myself. I think I'd take homemade tacos over pizza too most of the time, but sometimes pizza just hits the spot.
