That being: 1970s = shock, 1980s = denial, 1990s = anger, 2000s = bargaining, 2010s = depression, and 2020s = testing. According to him, the 2030s will be the acceptance decade. Meaning things will be so bad that people won't bother to fight back and just take it. Culture will stagnate, and anything edgy or controversial will be pushed to the fringes of society. Imagine what's happening now but cranked up to 11. The boomer mindset will finally die in the 2030s, and America will be seen as the new villains.
