I used to think I hadn't seen many films from those decades, but I've actually seen many, many from both. They just didn't register in my mind as being from their respective decades. They just kind of exist.

The sixties were one of the last steps towards the downfall. One of the worst decades artistically speaking, only the books in the decade were good, but when it came to music, engineering and films it was shit.
