I think out of all of Rome's insane emperors, Commodus is my favorite. He renamed the Roman Empire "Commodia," renamed every month of the year after himself, and walked around dressed in bearskin loincloths while carrying a giant club like a caveman. I like that wholesome, cartoonish kind of insanity. None of that gay Elagabalus stuff.
