Tom & Jerry has its charm, but I'm more of a Looney Tunes goy. I think the talent of Mel Blanc and others makes Looney Tunes a cut above Tom & Jerry, since we never hear Tom or Jerry speak.

I agree. Tom and Jerry was much more repetitive as far as content went. The Warner Bros. stuff had much more variety. I liked both as a kid, but after a while I wished Cartoon Network would have had more Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons instead of playing Tom and Jerry all the time. By that point, I also think they'd stopped playing Fleischer cartoons for years.
