MewithoutYou was a band I fell in love with back in high school. I haven't heard of any new albums in recent years and when I went to update myself it turns out they disbanded over the last year or so. Feels bad that I completely missed the chance to see them live one last time. The early stuff was, as it usually goes, mostly the best but they kept a pretty solid standard to the end all the same. The only song of theirs I ever actively disliked was "Allah, Allah, Allah". The price to pay for hipster Judeo-Christian music. It was also a little disappointing that they didn't go as far in exploring the Modest Mouse-tier sound they seemed to utilize in their [Untiled] album. RIP, mewithoutYou. I'll miss you.
