What are some bands that are musically similar to Lost Horizon? I haven't been able to find anyone else like them, and it's upsetting that they only put out two albums before they disbanded. Daniel Heiman recently did an album with some Danish guys and while the vocals are there, it's not what I was expecting and I realized that it needs those high-flying drums and guitars along with (for lack of a better term) the uplifting/godlike lyrics it comes with. They're undoubtedly my favorite band and I would love to find more like them.Techno
I'm bored of listening to the same Ibiza Trance Classics albums. They've been releasing the same fucking songs, I think even in the same order, for the last 20 years. How do I find new shit to listen to?Big Money Balvin vs. Based Travis
All right, /ost/. Since this is the official designated music board, I figured I'd ask the experts: Who IS the better musician, Travis Scott (of the Travis Scott Meal, six dollars at McDonald's) or J Balvin (of the JBalvin Meal, also available at McDonald's, with the McFlurry free if you order it on McDonalds' app). Who will win in this battle of the bands?help
My Epiphone Les Paul sounds like shit whenever I play an F chord on it. Almost like a muted sitar. I've been playing for years and never had this happen before. It sounds fine when I play the chord on other guitars, both acoustic and electric. I even tried playing on another Epiphone Les Paul and it sounded fine. It's only on this one guitar. I already tried changing the strings and it's still happening.Apple Is Finally Discontinuing the iPod
End of an era.Thoughts on Nic Sequeira's new single?
I've been hearing a lot of hype lately about Nic Sequeira's new single, "The Girl With The Crystal Plumage." I decided to give it a listen about an hour ago:Current mainstream pop music worth listening to
I'm mostly an 80s fan but there's a few modern artists I really enjoy that keep putting out good music instead of the forced garbage that most do, usually with rappers and music that couldn't catch on if the media didn't shill it 24/7. Very few artists today release hits comparable to the torrent of hits that the 80s were, but I'm sure those few will be remembered by nostalgics 40 years for now.
