What's interesting to me is that no critic, and I mean absolutely no one, has ever asked Sam about the marky alegations. It kills me to say it, but Sam needs to be put under conservatorship. Not as a punishment, but as protection from himself. Harland Williams is the only one I can see stepping up here. He's calm, humble, steady - a strong, masculine presence that Sam desperately needs. Maybe Harland can be the father figure Sam always needed but never got. Someone who can finally ground him, and give him the stability and guidance that's been missing for so long.
