Good acting and cinematography and music but it was so drawn out and kinda boring. Half the movie was reading poetry while filming pretty scenery. Which yes looked nice but things need to HAPPEN in a movie
I remember thinking I liked this movie a lot when I saw it 20 years ago. I have a feeling I would probably hate it if I saw it again today, given the ensemble cast. Whenever I see an ensemble cast now it just screams of self-important narcissist Hollywood crap.
>>368228 I liked the movie but I think being able to recognize every face hurts it. It started feeling like an SNL skit when even the random private slightly out of focus in the background is an A-lister. Mogs Saving Private Ryan but I understand why audiences latched onto that one instead.

One of the things I like about low-budget horror flicks is the lack of recognizable actors. All the no-name cast members make everything feel more grounded.
