I can't watch the stream tonight, I ordered a pizza after months without eating one and I'll probably watch a movie with my family.

I decided to take a nap after brunch listening to Gahoole's bitching about Switch 2, basically heard the first half-hour and the last after I woke up.
No.11345
Gahoole, what is your take on GameChat and the camera? I didn't hear it mentioned.

>>11368There won't be drift this time because of the magnetic adherence of the controllers to the console.

>>11368Yet no mainline Mario game, nobody gives a shit about the shitty spinoffs not even the one where a gorilla rapes a little girl. Nintendo's audience has been indoctrinated with wasting their lives away to the point of overhyping teasers and trailers while acting indifferent when the games or DLC's finally launch, they'll just throw it away and demand more.
No.11374
>>11373>Yet no mainline Mario gameThey haven't been releasing 3D Mario platformers with the console launch for generations dating back to Gamecube. They usually wait a while to establish the user base, and to give other games a chance to sell.

>>11420I'm an authenticity autist and like having the consoles I had growing up on hand to hook up to a CRT TV like in the old days. I could probably just get by with a MiSTer for that most of the time though. Even Ten Inch Mike is a fan:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CzHoyioRhTo/A while ago I played through the SNES release of Final Fantasy IV on my computer with Retroarch and CRT-Royale, and even that was a pretty good experience. There are a lot of options these days, which is good considering how inaccessible the collector's market has been getting for newcomers. I have a decent amount of NES cartridges, but I wouldn't recommend anyone start getting into collecting them unless it's for sentimental reasons. I honestly wouldn't mind parting with some of my games that I don't have any emotional attachment to.

>>11434At the moment I have all the gen 7 consoles and a ps2, any console you would say I should get? I do have an attachment to the gamecube and xbox.
No.11439
>>11437I had a GameCube and liked it, but outside of a few Nintendo games like Super Smash Bros. I was mainly into third-party releases like the TimeSplitters games and Soul Calibur II that you could get on the PS2. Is there anything in particular you want to play on those consoles you mentioned?
I would just recommend going the FPGA route for anything before the fifth generation at this point unless there's a specific console you'd like to own. For me, the NES, SNES, and Genesis are the ones I've always been most attached to since I was a kid.

>>11439>Is there anything in particular you want to play on those consoles you mentioned?Perhaps twilight princess on the gamecube but I have a totally legit copy on my wii. I also really have always wanted to play sonic adventure on the dreamcast, quake 3 as well. I have played Q3 for over 15 years and I've actually gotten worse over time.

>>11437Get an xbox and hardmod it. It's piss-easy to do and there's a ton of good companies and people that will do the hard part (soldering) for you and you'll basically never run out of shit to do with it.
