>>15531It's hard for me to find anything I have an interest in trying. There are a few games on my backlog I'd like to try, but they're not a huge priority. A family member also bought me a Paradox bundle years ago, but I can't be bothered to invest the time or effort to learn the gameplay mechanics. Even back in high school I'd already been cutting back on the games I played other than getting pretty into Doom for a little while.
I'd rather just play against the AI in Command & Conquer: Combined Arms for the millionth time than shell out any money for anything or even just bother trying to learn something new. I'd probably have less fun with something else anyway. I do plan on buying D.O.R.F. when it comes out though. Not only is it actually up my alley, but I remember one of the guys behind it coming on /geimu/ to show us what he was working on before it went public. He deserves compensation for his hard work.
Generally I'd rather just play games I already know I like.
