>>6434I was blown away by Lies of P. I was expecting a short 5/10 Bloodborne clone, instead I got a 9/10 highly polished game that gave me 40 hours of pure entertainment. Gameplay actually improves upon the base of Bloodborne. All the characters are appealing and the only diversity to speak of is the Korean weaponsmith (picrel). Pure singleplayer experience no logins, no online.
If the Korean/Chinese market can put out even 4 or 5 games of this standard every year it's going to completely alter the industry (people are already going crazy for Stellar Blade)

>>6441>Kills a furry in the first opening seconds. It looks pretty good. I just don't care for these kinds of games. 3rd person slashers. I have fond memories of some in the past, but not really.
I can't remember the game… I think it was a Windows XP era game where you play as a fallen angel with damaged wings that can glide.

>>6468Why do you want games to be hard? Are you a masochist? Games don't have to be hard to be fun. This isn't the '80s where arcade games were made impossibly difficult to siphon quarters from kids, or the '90s where they were almost as unforgiving because challenge was seen as feature to extend the life of a game.

The problem is the cost of living, it's tough all over. Young couples can barely afford housing, much less raising a child. There needs to be a reckoning for greedy landlords and other kikes, they are literally robbing our societies of a future.

>>6478>.78, and they're working on it..78 was in 2022 while .72 is for 2023 and it's projected to be .68 in 2024. Although the difference is slight demographics show it's poor women that have the most children while wealthier women don't so clearly cost of living isn't the problem.

>>6478It's not the "cost of living." That is the Jewish lie.
It is feminism and feminism alone. Through affirmative action and government spending women steal jobs from men or are given fake jobs. This creates more competition in the workplace which pushes costs higher because there is more money sloshing around in the system.
Then there is abortion and birth control which is the other side of the coin.
All of this is feminism. It is feminism's fault, not some "muh cost of living." That is the leftist Jewish lie.

>>6499>All of this is feminism. It is feminism's fault, not some "muh cost of living." That is the leftist Jewish lie.Feminism has a lot to do with it. Birth control, abortion, sure. But young people literally can't get ahead now with the cost of living. I'll give you an example, when my family moved to my city 35 years ago, we rented a 3-bedroom house on the canal for $375. Now, it's like $2,000 for a 2-bedroom duplex. Even when you adjust for inflation, you can see how this is untenable. Wages have not nearly kept up with the cost of inflation. Just look at how the cost of getting a college education has risen, if you want a high-paying job. Many college alumni are in debt now until their thirties. So a young working man is supposed to juggle all these expenses, meet a woman of child-bearing age, wine and dine her, and still be able to support children before it's too late.

>>6476>Why do you want games to be hard? Are you a masochist? Games don't have to be hard to be fun.I don't want games to be cock and ball torture but I do like a challenge, mostly because it forces you to engage with the game more (try beating this bitch without mastering parry). It feels more satisfying when you have to use all of the game mechanics to win and can't just brute force it.
I make an exception for RPGs with good stories though, those I would rather play on normal

>>6503>I make an exception for RPGs with good stories though, those I would rather play on normalSame. Thankfully, with contemporary RPGs they're getting away from excessive grinding, and putting a bigger emphasis on story to fill the game's length.

>the Mario RPGs are so dead that they had to just remake the first one at this point>Golden Sun is necrotic at nearly 15 years without a new game>Etrian Odyssey is dead, but they are saying it will get a new entry soon™>Pokemon is garbage now>Xeno series bled out all of its soul in the entries after the Wii one>Final Fantasy has always been pretty questionable but now sucks even more than ever>Dragon Quest's last 3 entries are oddities and the series has lost two of its main creators>Does anyone ever play SMT games anymore? There's obviously a lot more but I feel like this covers the most relevant stuff.
In terms of RPGs that are alive:
>Pokemon still sells well and gets consistent releases, even though the games have been lower quality.>NotPersona6 is coming soon>That one jap studio one anon on here really likes keeps making games (FuRyu)>the chinese/koreans are making weird gacha RPG hybrids like Star Rail and Genshin Impact>Falcom pumps out a new game a yearThings don't look so good.
