I wouldn't know, but the word on the street is that there's some actual attempt at balanced gameplay. Games aren't won depending on which overly broken assortment of champs you decide to go with.

I mean with Dota usually the new champion is the most busted thing raping the meta until it gets nerfed into the ground by public complains, while in LoL they're a lot more neglectful because they're busy expanding their shitty franchise with spinoffs. However both Riot and Valve finally got the niggercattle eating from the palm of the hands, so why bother fix anything?

I never understood why this game is popular.

I tried it once with some friends and got bored, I wanted to play Age of Empires or CS with them. Or better yet, L4D2.
