The site doesn't care about user numbers anymore. It's just for power-tripping and scamming until it's shutdown when all the remaining money keeping it afloat completely dries up. They removed the IP counter, they removed moderation feedback, no new IPs can post, they implanted spyware that costs almost 400K per year, cost for passes have been inflated, most of the traffic is generated by a small number of schizos obsessively spamming due to mental illness and OCD. People use to meme about the site dying, but it legitimately looks we're either going to see a random shutdown announcement or it'll just go permanently offline abruptly one day and Rapeape will close his xitter and disappear.
