I got into Swedish snus shortly before the FDA started banning the importation of most brands late last year, and into earlier this year. It was at that point I switched mainly to US-based tobacco-free nicotine pouches. They're not bad, I like how they're mostly spit-free. I found with swedish snus white pouches, I'd still need to frequently spit. With nicotine pouches you're not gonna be up shit's creek if you forget your spittoon.

There's at least a certain mystique smoking gives some people, and I think everyone here is at least sympathetic of why people become drug addicts or alcoholics, dipping just makes you look like a retard and rots your gums away for no benefit

Nicotine gives an invigorating buzz that's not mind-altering. As far as the damage chewing tobacco does, it's like anything else, if you drink every day you'll wreck your liver, if you overeat you will turn into a fatass.
