I'm on the east coast and it's the same here. Dunkin' used to be a lot cheaper than Starbucks, but since they pivoted to build the brand more on their beverages, they realized they could charge more.

I stick by my statement that gas station coffee is best for your buck. They have espresso plastic cup containers that are creamer size to do your own "shot" amount.

For plain coffee sure, but for me when I'm gonna get takeout coffee, I usually go all out and get a mocha or cappuccino, gas station quality doesn't cut it for those.

9 dollars for a coffee just seems ridiculous to me. Extra mile has all the creamers and syrup pumps. I'm on a caramel crave after going through the usual November/December peppermint yearning, fuck, September/October pumpkin creamer is the highlight of my year.
