ITT POST VISUAl MEDIA THAT HAS INSPIRED YOUR TABLE TOP GAME

I want to hear about Movies, TV shows, OVAs, ONAs, etc. that inspires you when creating for your games. These movies need not be good per say, but have some element that stokes your imagination.

FELIX THE CAT: THE MOVIE 1988

>Cartoon cat gets transported into a different dimension where he must contend with swamp mutants, headhunting cryptids, and a robot army lead by the evil Duke of Zill.

Reminds me of comics like Bone & early Cerebus, and movies like Wizards where funny cartoon man must confront serious shit.

The Weathering Continent Original title: Kaze no tairiku 1992

>A party of adventureres fall into the subterannian ruins of an ancient civilization & shit goes down. There's also some greater context to the world (apparently it was based on a ln) but not really relevant to this particular animation.

The closest thing I have seen to a plutonic dungeon crawl put to screen.

The Raven 1963
>Vincent Price plays a reclusive wizard who is called out of hiding when Peter Lorre reveals that he saw the Wizards thought to be dead wife at the manse of his rival: Dr. Scarabus, played by Boris Karloff.
The "Wizard Duel" that happens in the film is said to be one of the primary inspirations of the G man himself.
