Why would you build a time machine when you're already living in the far past??

Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux were both in Dark of the Sun together 8 years later. I remember it being a pretty good movie, although I don't care for the "based negro" sidekick or the fact that the dup who gets btfo is an evil Nazi. We're talking about a movie that takes place in the Congo a couple decades after WWII ended. I'm sure they could have come up with a more appropriate villain than an unrepentant ex-Nazi.

The Time Machine's a good movie. I especially liked the little parts taking between 1900 and the far future.

Movies like this are my go-to for comfy rainy days. I really like Journey To The Center of the Earth (1959) and The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958).

I still need to watch that one. 7 Faces of Dr. Lao is another one that I want to see.
>The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958)
That's definitely one of my favorite Harryhausen movies. I dislike the way they shoehorned the child actor into the role of the genie though. The little dago from 20 Million Miles to Earth bugged me too. Why is it that the people who make movies seemingly think that children won't be interested in a movie unless there's some snot-nosed kid on screen?

Nice. I bought an imported copy of their 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T release a few years ago. The Mill Creek version that got released in Burgerland has worse video and audio quality and doesn't even have any bonus features.
