My all time favourite childhood film, what be your favourite from your childhood?

Probably Batman '89 or Ghostbusters. I wanted to be a paranormal investigator or a rich vigilante superhero like Batman when I grew up.

Many of the movies I loved as a kid didn't fare well upon rewatch as an adult.
I would say Dracula dead and loving it, Robocop, Tremors and Waterworld are movies that I can still watch and enjoy and I never missed an opportunity to watch them as a kid.

My childhood favorites were mostly pretty standard, but there were a few like this I watched a lot that are basically forgotten nowadays. It's about a group of siblings who are orphaned and run away rather than allow the government to take them away and split them up in separate homes. It's a movie I still come back to when I'm in the mood for something nostalgic.

Incidentally, The Wizard reminded me of it when I saw it with the way the kids go on the run and the desert scenery. I really liked it.

I have been avoiding watching the movies I liked as a child because of this.

I loved The Labyrinth and Space Balls for example. The first one is boring MK-Ultra flick, the second one was almost boring and didn't make me laugh as an adult

Did you lose your sense of humor? Or maybe you just watched it too many times already and you're burned out from it.

I didn't know people actually watched this movie. I thought it just became an internet meme later because of all the bing bing wahoo.

Hard Target was the first action movie I saw from beginning to end.
And I watched it with my dad as a kid, so it holds a lot of memories for me.

First action movie I ever saw was pic related though.

I don't have a single favorite, but this one comes to mind. I also liked 80's comedies like National Lampoon's Vacation and Trading Places.

Speaking of douge, Felix the Cat: The Movie was unironically one of my favorite movies when I was a kid.
