It wasnt a great ending in my opinion, but it was appropriate considering that it was part of a film that was basically a two-hour music video, I think a silly kung fu montage is a good way to end a movie like that.
Also consider that in the 28 Days Universe Jimmy Saville would never have been caught and his victims would all be dead.
