Turn on the TV or radio, and it won't be long before you see some form of alcohol advertisement. There's still the impression out there that alcohol is harmless, so long as you "drink responsibly", whatever that's supposed to mean.

I don't believe your graph. It's probably from a study done at the behest of the industry, not to mention that people lie on these surveys, just like how they lie when the cop asks them how many drinks they've had when they get pulled over after a night out. I've read elsewhere that about a third of Americans are full-blown alcoholics, and that seems more believable, in my experience.

I had a period of time in my life where I had a beer at lunch everyday but unlike many I didn't binge drink during weekends.
