Is the pre-Thames Benny Hill Show (1955-1968) lost media? It is unavailable for streaming, and it does not appear that they ever released it on home video. Even the status of the Thames seasons (1969-1991) programme is threatened, since the DVDs have been out of print for years, and used copies are getting harder to come by.
