i think black and white films allow people to get away with bad looking props, costumes and sets, so any director who decides to shoot in b&w instead of colors must be a bad director. i think color is wonderful too.

Not really, plenty of black&white movies with bad props and special effects.
If anything the props and effects in the 1953 War of the Worlds film actually look worse in black and white.

What I really want is a good director that can pioneer frame, and movement techniques for 48FPS movies.
