I always think of media as focusing on the European theater, and usually not the Eastern Front either.

Definitely. Korea deserves its reputation as the forgotten war. It's sandwiched between WWII and Vietnam, so nobody really remembers it. I was thinking about that yesterday. I was at a family gathering, and my great uncle was showing a picture of the bullet that hit him in the head in Korea and his Purple Heart and how his face looked after they reconstructed it.
