>>372714>Killing downies is technically not eugenics as they can't pass their condition down as they got extra chromes.According to what I've just read, it's still possible for them to reproduce and pass on their condition.
But regardless of whether it's directly dysgenic or not, I think it is indirectly. If you get saddled with a disabled child, you're less likely to have more kids. It also leads to lowered parental involvement in bringing up any healthier children the parents may also have, since so much of their time is invested in taking care of the disabled one.
>Its killing someone so I won't be a pretending libtard. It really isn't until the nervous system is at the very least developed enough for them to feel pain. I don't know how it would be possible to argue for fetal personhood until that point is reached. I read a while ago that it's possible that prenatal pain may as early as 9-11 weeks in, but that was a speculative minority position. Even if it were true, that still doesn't apply to the earliest parts of the pregnancy.
It's also hard to tell what's true because both sides constantly make emotional appeals. I think the abortionist position is still the wiser one from a policy standpoint and would probably still be the lesser evil from an ethical standpoint even if it could be showing to be close to the "baby killing" that anti-abortionists make it out to be. I think it leads to a more peaceful society by lowering the rates of reproduction among the worst of the worst.
I can't say I'm an expert on the topic, but I'm sick of the weepy hysterics and virtue signalling from anti-abortion people who don't seem to be living in reality. I think the pussyhats are usually correct but for the wrong reasons.
>I don't go on kiker to avoid this outrage shit in the first place.I know what you mean. I'm trying to wean myself off it because it gets me riled up.
