Sorry I neglected the thread for a bit. Below are the picks for September.
Borat
>Outrageous situations occur when Borat, a popular reporter from Kazakhstan, comes to the United States to film a documentary on what makes America a great nation. Along the way, he manages to offend just about everyone he meets, fall in love with actress Pamela Anderson, and set forth on a cross-country journey to make her his wife.
Otoko wa Tsurai yo 1969
>It's Tough Being a Man is a 1969 Japanese comedy film directed by Yoji Yamada and starring Kiyoshi Atsumi. It is the first entry in the popular, long-running Otoko wa Tsurai yo series.
Bros 2022
>Bobby is a neurotic podcast host who's happy to go on Tinder dates and content not to have a serious relationship. That all changes when he meets Aaron, an equally detached lawyer who likes to play the field. Repeatedly drawn to each other, both men begin to show their vulnerable sides as their undeniable attraction turns into something resembling a commitment.
Dersu Uzula 1975
>"Dersu Uzala" is epic in form yet intimate in scope. Set in the forests of Eastern Siberia at the turn of the century, it is a portrait of the friendship that grows between an aging hunter and a Russian surveyor. A romantic hymn to nature and the human spirit, it boasts a performance by Maxim Munzuk as the wise and wizened old man of the Taiga.
A Shot in the Dark (1964)
>A chambermaid at the Ballon residence in Paris is accused of murdering her lover. Against the wishes of Chief Inspector Dreyfuss, the infamous Clouseau is assigned to the case. Death follows the maid wherever she goes, yet Clouseau is stubbornly convinced of her innocence.

Borat really takes on a new light when you realize what a Zionist piece of shit Baron Cohen is now. The whole movie feels like a piece of victimizing propaganda ("Look how antisemitic everyone is, isn't that funny?") to justify Israeli aggression against their neighbors.
I remember thinking how silly it was that Kazakhstan felt they had to put out public statements of outrage over the portrayal of Kazakhstan as some kind of Jew hating backwater, but I 100% side with them now as victimized by this asshole.
