I'm not going to lie. You are a fucking NERD!, and those are some pretty cool fucking models.

>>991How do they paint all that? is that just with an airbrush? I always assumed the spray radius would be a bit large for models so small

>>991I won't argue. I'll let you in on a secret, when I was kid I used to love walking through comic shops looking at stuff, I always thought the models were awesome.
>>993Fucking paintbrushes anon. You have to be model train level dedicated for this kinda shit. We're talking about flying simulator tier autis- I mean hobbyist.

>>993Air brushes are way too big for anything but large robots and monsters. You paint them by hand with small paint brushes. This guy's channel is full of really good tutorials where you can watch him paint shit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNfjkVVtdIg>>995It's my main hobby. I bought a 3D printer just so I could make cooler and more interesting dioramas.

>>998>3d printerThat probably makes a lot of sense if you're not getting diecast. Can you replicate stuff like 40k or do they have some propriety rights to the specific designs? I can definitely see where 3d printer could come in handy for a model collector.

>>999Games workshop are cunts and will sue you into oblivion if you try and copy their stuff but people still make very similar things on them. If you want to print models the tech isn't quite there yet, resin printing is very close but it's still got issues. It's also very toxic and messy to deal with so it's a health hazard if you want higher quality models.
Normal 3D printing which is melting plastic instead of using a laser to cure resin still shows slices where each layer is put down. Even when printing ultra fine layers it's still visible if you look for it. On models it's going to be a problem unless you're just looking for cheap junk to put in your D&D game. No one cares if your skeletons are covered in lines, there's 40 of the things.. Where normal 3D printing excels currently is buildings and tokens. You can use car filler primer to fill in the lines and do a bit of sanding to get really good quality buildings. Since most terrain is ruins there isn't a huge amount of small detail so it "just works" as they say. But it takes 15-20 hours to print a building so it's not something you mass produce on a whim.

J/k, looking nice. Really interesting hobby to have picked up. That guitar must sound terrible but it's still pretty cool you built one.

>>1062I'm sorry, I'm still doing my darn'dest to make better work. I like the set design more because it feel very comfortable.
With that being said, I'm still attempting new grounds, and just recently I started making figures. I hope these will interest you more. They're characters from the ActionLad movie I have seen in Camble's Room. These are just the "First Movie" versions though.

>>1069? Don't ever apologize for your work. I wouldn't. If someone doesn't like what you make that's too bad, they can make something of their own. Figures are good, remind me of the disposable assassin.

also, are you working on your kitchen counter?

>>1070I was being sarcastic but yeah, I guess that didn't translate super well to text. Anyway though, the figures were a lot fun, I do plan to incorporate them more into future projects. I have no reason nor desire to stop with this medium any time in the future.
