Koreans and Korean culture wasn't the best before the US to be honest. Historically they are a conquered people and the Chosen kingdom is a relatively short part of their history. They were a poor people, who weren't the smartest, they have always had a problem with alcohol, and they are predisposed to random violence. Think Ireland under British rule. Just prior to the Japanese occupation the Koreans were for all intents and purposes still a medieval fiefdom style nation. The Japs did a lot of shady shit, but for all their crimes they really did elevate the Koreans out of serfdom and give the Koreans a chance at upward mobility. That said last time I was there was over a decade ago and it was already are really fucking sad state of affairs. What America did to Korea is shit, but what the jews are doing to them now if far worse. The Korean people are buckbroken to such a degree that hating one half of their entire race just for not living up to some jewish daydream is unspeakably fucked. Just to reiterate Koreans are not the smartest people but they are incredibly loyal so when an idea enters their zeitgeist they will embrace it, and defend it, even at their own expense.
Koreans aren't pretending to be Americans, they are basically America in Asia. Koreans like fast cars, big tits, smoking, alcohol, cheese, and getting super involved in trivial sports/media shit to the point where they will throwing hands over it. Korea is a terrible terrible country, but for all their flaws I can't hate the Korean people. Yes, they can be racist as fuck, but who wouldn't be if your nation was occupied for 70 years by a bunch of drunk burger niggers. Yes, they are nigger tier violent, but who wouldn't be if you grew up as a people that have been constantly invaded and conquered for thousands of years. Yes, the Koreans are incredibly superficial, but what do you expect when they are so conquered their very survival depends on seducing their conquerors. Yes, their culture is a weird mix of Confucianism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Judaism values and is basically a cargo cult slapped together to keep them from having a collective minds broken, but they earnestly and whole heartedly believe in it. Again, that is a sign of Korea's best and worst traits. Koreans will absolutely trust in you and go to the end of the earth for you if they think you are there friend and ally. The US has exploited that weakness ruthlessly and the results fucking suck.
Korean-Americans are unironically the better version of Worst Korea, and an inferior version of Best Koreans.
