It takes me almost no time to split "burnables", "cartons / bottles / cans" and "everything else", and if it lowers my taxes while keeping shit clean I'm all for it. If I see some shitty pen with "made of recycled plastic" on it, hey, it's a mildly nice feeling. Literally the only conceivable opposition you could have to spending 2 seconds to keep your shit clean is if you live in a country where it's normal to dump plastic bags filled with empty chip packets in your holy river and main food source.
It's my choice to recycle, and it's India's choice to permanently make their subcontinent inhospitable to any type of life in exchange for a quick scam for a few bucks to take trash off of the civilised world's hands. In terms of who's paying for it, it's not us.
