nothing will get seized, even before when FDR outlawed gold they didn't seize shit, except from safety deposit boxes at banks, otherwise it was just outlawed to use gold/silver as money in commerce. There is less above ground silver than gold this is true, but there is more silver in the ground than gold. It is still obscenely undervalued relative to gold.

Local coin shop. look around for best prices, premiums "over spot". Sometimes jewelry stores run sales on bullion if you're lucky. I am in California and lucky to have a bullion dealer on every street, and all coin shops have excellent prices. One even sells below spot and California law states a certain amount of silver bought? I think it's $1,600, gets tax exempt. Some coin shops flat out refuse to charge because they're based and know taxing bullion is unconstitutional.
