a book (especially a philosophical text) is not an authority to program yourself with, it's a point of view, and should be treated like a one-way conversation. if you sought out somebody's opinion, then cast it aside to chase somebody else's opinion (as you would need to when dealing with the 500+ books you've shilled); while recommending others do the same rather than relaying your own understanding, then you quite literally are nothing more than a blank flesh-construct to have orders and thoughts written upon (or as the kikes like to call them, golem). classical philosophers didn't bookthump each other with weeks of "prerequisite thought" required or appeal to institutional standards. you want to do it like the foundations of philosophy did it? find somebody seemingly articulate and good faith yet opposed to you and pick a fight with them. (but that wouldn't let you retreat into your safe space of "my-wing-basics" would it) (you'd have to interact with somebody who can respond, not a piece of paper).
additionally, since you are basing yourself on archaic lines of thought, and not interacting with present reality, you aren't just out of touch, but incapable of refuting or asserting your own point, other than saying "ugh go read jewberg, (((everyone))) told me to read jewberg", while arrogantly asserting a sense of superiority over others, because you feel justified that you've spent more time than they have having your thoughts told to you. it's not just mental stagnation, but actively counterproductive, and makes you inflexible and delusioned. there's a time and a place where you might want to see what a certain figure had to say about a certain thing, but that is an extremely niche scenario, and should be done electively and with respect to what exactly you're doing (see the first paragraph). not methodically, and not authoritatively.
