You can use pre-ryzen amd cpus that lack this and plenty of mods for newer/older intel cpus to neuter me (libreboot/coreboot) pinephone was a hobbyist device with hardware switches. Privacy alts exist, the government is not all powerful with an eye of Sauron looking at us. You can soften their spying on Android phones by custom roms/removing bloatware.

CPU microcode is a spook, it does not interface with GNU/Linux for spying to the extent you think it does. If you're using GNU/Linux, you're in a much better position than a Winglows user, which is malware built from the ground up to spy on users in every conceivable way, and it has gotten worse with each new iteration.
