I was born in the early '90s. I'm not a zoomer, and I dislike the stereotypical neophilic, wigger-brained zoomer mentality. I still think it's easier to more normalized to have right-wing beliefs now as a zoomer than it was as a millennial in the pre-dup period in the first half of the 2010s. It was mostly disgruntled millennials who set everything in motion. I just don't believe that millennials are as polarized as zoomers are.

Millennials are one of the most politically extreme generations in history. Are you going to tell me now that the pre-Obama era of the 2000s was peaceful? That's what I'm talking about, but it wasn't rank-and-file millennials taking part in those things. It was all considered pretty fringe at the time. The media scaremongering with people like Richard Spencer didn't start going into overdrive until like 2014 or 2015 as far as I can recall. Even /pol/ in its early days had a pretty substantial chunk of posters who weren't serious right-wingers, but the latter group ended up punching well beyond its weight class in terms of raw numbers and spreading its ideas far and wide. The fact that so many zoomers are using terms like "goyslop" is a testament to the outsized influence a relatively small number of people have had.

Zoomers are a 1:1 equal with the boomers, they act like just them! Just switch out cable tv with tiktok or the youtube algorhitm, swap out tv forcememes with whatever shit the algorhitms spit out at you.
