Betty is the one doing the backstabbing and being underhanded in general while Veronica seems to be the more innocent one, on account of being a sheltered rich girl. Maybe these were later comics where they tried switching up the formula or something?

⁃ start at the earliest,
⁃ read until it all gets "more of the same" and you are bored,
