A while back I made a translation of the last part of Varg's "Germanic Mythology And World-view", and have, to the best of my ability, tried to keep the formal tone of Varg's writing, and his slightly dated wording/phrasing. Any errors in spelling are due to my own ineptitude.
The original text, in Norwegian, is here:
http://www.burzum.org/eng/library/germansk_mytologi_og_verdensanskuelse.shtmlA few remarks regarding the text:
* Varg makes frequent reference to three names/races/classes: Trell, Karl & Jarl. These names appear in the poem
Rígsþula in the Poetic Edda, and tells how the god Óðinn or Heimdallr depending on your take on it, using the name Ríg, fathers the three classes of Norse society:
Trell ("Thrall"/Slave/Serf) - Fellow Norsemen and persons brought back from raids/expeditions (Celts and Englishmen) who are slaves and bought/sold as property
Karl ("Man") - all free people, ranging from the poor to the rich
Jarl ("Earl") - the ruling elite; earls, chieftains, and petty-kings
Varg writes that this origin of the human-kinds/races happened on Atlantis, and that the ruins of Atlantis are now "under the ice of the South Pole, which formerly was a part of Lemuria" when earth's magnetic poles changed.
* The "shadows" and "mist-shapes" Varg mentions are likely references to the story in the Prose Edda, telling how the first living being in the world, the (frost-)giant Ymir, came about when cold/ice & heat/fire came into contact, and almost mirror the Carl Sagan quote "We are made of starstuff."
* The terms "langskalle" ("long-head"), "mellomskalle" ("medium-head") and "kortskalle" ("short-head") refer to the skull-shape of the different races as per the cephalic index defined by Swedish professor Anders Adolph Retzius (1796-1860):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cephalic_index#Historic_use_in_human_anthropologyAs a sidenote, Varg dates this writing 1998/1999 a.y.p.s. - which is an acronym for "Anno Yersinia Pestis Spiritus", an obscure, underground Black Metal reference from the 1990s, in which Christendom is referred to as the "spiritual plague".
