It was shit, but that's to be expected when it's made for toddlers. Even Sesame Street felt like it was aiming for an older audience.

Barney was my favorite as kid. I must be a true Aryan.

>>350563>>350564>>350565You all seem to be missing the point. The introduction of dinosaurs to the popular culture was likely a prelude or test run to introducing demons for the public to worship and believe are real.
The people that hated Barney or any depictions of dinosaurs understood this and rejected it. The less intelligent like the OP were fooled.

My dinosaur-loving phase ended decades ago, nowadays there are so many freaks involved in the paleontology community , obviously the dinosaur fags who end up being weirdos and pseudo intellectuals most of the time.

>>350587>slow plodding upright ectotherms… while shambling around awkwardlyThey weren't always portrayed that way. The tail dragging looked cooler too, especially the way theropods were sometimes shown whipping their tails around like in the Valley of Gwangi.

Back in the day my buddies had a massive problem with Barney because the programming was catered to them, aka 7 to 11yos, when in reality Barney should've been catered to smaller children to toddlers, like 3 to 6yos.
When they were waiting for Dragon Ball, Gundam or Action Man/Max Steel they suddenly got a double dose of Barney. I didn't care because my parents paid for the premium cable package that had the anime channel.

>>350628Dinosaurs were without a doubt more agile than chickens. The main reason is they retained a large muscular tail, whereas birds have lost it to get as light as possible for flight. The tail in dinosaurs functioned as a cantilever, with a very large muscle connecting the thighs to the tail to enhance retraction of the legs. This feature is likely why bipedalism evolved and re-evolved so many times independently in dinosaurs. In animals with reduced tails like mammals and birds, their tails could no longer support such a muscle, and it's almost certainly why bipedalism has evolved comparatively few times in mammals.
