Even if people were freed from the constant corruption of porn, media and consumerism, the collective education on topics like history, psychology and philosophy is so abysmally nonexistant it wouldn't make a difference anyway because of chronic dunning-krueger stupidity. Good thing a vote from a Harvard professor of economics and finance counts for the same as franky the meth addict. White birth rates continue to plummet and we joyously spread our cheeks for the foreigner to take the country our forefathers entrusted to us, the country that many, many men better than you or me died for.We are all completely blind to the abyss we stand over, the abyss that was once held back by religion, by culture, by heritage and ancestral pride. They made a bunch of comments about the forbidden door and the tranny fed, but they were all really backhanded comments and the tone was not pleased. Are the boys in the back getting pissed off because Bushiroad is forcing the door open? Like ELP thanked the bucks for the international sales of his BC merch but it was just $3.75 and it sounded sarcastic as fuck. Kevin Kelly mentioned that the door was open in response to a comment ELP made and then it sounded like he was about to go off on a rant. Instead KK just sort of drifted off and then sighed like he was trying not to say what he really wanted to say. I figured the KENTA exchange happened because NJPW needs to get their title back and Tony Khan has their balls in a vice and could force this concession. There is absolutely no reason to acknowledge the door opening if it was extortion, just send KENTA over, have him work with the mudshow for a bit, have the title match on STRONG, and then cut ties with AEW forever. Like NJPW doesn't acknowledge the matches its talent has with their partners unless it is part of an angle they are working, but somehow this piece of business has the announcers treating it like it is now a thing.
I really don't like the ELITE and they were the reason I stopped watching NJPW around 2016ish. Having this be more than just a one off thing to regain control over their title is going to fuck them over. Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling
Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling was a Japanese Professional Wrestling promotion founded by Atsushi Onita in 1989. He started it due to the two main promotions, Antonio Inoki's New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Giant Baba's All Japan Pro Wrestling, rejecting his ideas about how "everything should be allowed in Puroresu". Onita expanded on the brawling style he had encountered in Jerry Lawler's Continental Wrestling Association in Memphis, Tennessee and the use of barbed-wire in the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Baba derisively labeled the FMW style "Garbage Wrestling", though it is more respectfully labeled "Hardcore." While Onita was the focus, and many Japanese wrestlers (W*ING Kanemura, Masato Tanaka, Hayabusa, Tarzan Goto, Mr. Gannosuke) made their names there, it also was the promotion where the likes of Jado Gedo and TAKA Michinoku debuted, American wrestler Mike Awesome made his career as "The Gladiator" and also where Sabu first made his name, and, as a result of competing in no-rope barbed-wire matches, became the "scarred-up freak" the world would come to know and love. I was watching through the 2018 GCW shows like spring break 2 and especially lost in new york and it's like a completely different world. The shows were fucking big, and were even able to outshine the big wwe shows they were on the same weekend as. It feels like most of the big talent has been completely drained from the indie scene especially in the america and UK. AEW seems to have essentially become the alternative wrestling product, taking up whatever attention and space the big indies were occupying 2 years ago. I like AEW but those indies were a ton of fun and really all completely unique, and totally allowed to be themselves. Is there a future for any of them or are things gonna go back to the 2000s with smaller shittier indies occupying local area, but big time indies basically being nothing.
WXW just did their 16 carat tourney/weekend of shows, and they essentially fired (((david starr))) for talking shit about WWE, he's a total piece of shit, who would gladly let shit like this happen to other people who he disagrees with so I don't feel bad for him at all, but this also feels like the end of the euro indie scene. The big stars are either signed, fired, or retired. Most of the companies are shutting down or partnering with WWE, revpro being the lone exception but they aren't nearly as popular without NJPW talent on their shows.
I have no doubt nxt japan will be a failure, but you gotta worry what them moving in there will do to some of the lower end jap indies as well. I'm really fucking worried that especially with shows essentially being cancelled through april I imagine that a bunch of the smaller companies will go under, and WWE will swoop in to setup a new company with the laid off talent.
State of the indies 2020
With the advent of AEW and WWE buying up the UK indie scene essentially, is this the end of the "big indie" that became popular during the 2010s? Places like GCW, WXW, Progress, OTT, etc. are either becoming fed developmental grounds or just straight up losing their best talent.
